K. Michael Conaway does not know what "no evidence" means

I have long complained that many people do not seem to know what "no evidence" means. Today's example:

“We found no evidence of collusion. We found perhaps some bad judgment, inappropriate meetings,” Mr. Conaway said during a briefing with reporters on Monday afternoon.

"Inappropriate meetings" is evidence. You can't say there is "no evidence" for something and then in the next sentence give an example of a piece of evidence for that same proposition. Again, "evidence" isn't an entire case. It isn't necessarily a smoking gun or a rock solid proof. It is a piece of information that makes a possibility more likely to be true than it would be without that information.

I guess you can say that if you're a Congressman who is completely full of shit and trying to protect his president.
